Annoying.
Music Lover.

Everyone here is ready to go. It’s been a hard year and I only know. From down this low, it’s only up we go.

Everyone here is ready to go. It’s been a hard year and I only know. From down this low, it’s only up we go.

If you love someone, set them free. If they come back they’re yours; if they don’t they never were.”- Richard Bach – Yeah?.. well fuck that shit and fuck Richard Bach. Do you honestly think, I have the time to meet someone, click, grow an attachment, fall in love, deeply in love, I’m not talking your average crush, I’m talking, going back to the days where we used to write love letters from long distances type of love, the “making a cup of tea and blowing it until its warm enough for them to drink” type of love… to have a soul connection, miss them, crave them, submit to them, etc.. just to let them go in the future. Wdf. Listen, if it’s gotton deep enough for me to fall into that type of love, I’m not letting you go. Fuck, I hate this generation of replacers. If something goes wrong, instead of fixing it, we replace, or let it go or some other dumb shit. No. Richard Bach, who is divorced, I will not take advice from you. As long as it isn’t toxic and unhealthy, I am not letting go.

jesus fucking christED SHEERAN TWEETED THIS AFTER HE WAS VOTED MOST INFLUENTIAL ACT IN BLACK MUSIC.THIS WAS HIS RESPONSE.DO NOT SHOW SUPPORT FOR THAT.

Hello actual black person here

Here I am listening to a very inspirational man named Ed Sheeran

Look at my sporting my awesome Ed Sheeran bracelets

Hey look its the songbook that Ed Sheeran inspired me to start writing my songs in

THE UKULELE ED SHEERAN INSPIRED ME TO START WRITING MUSIC WITH?????

THE GUITAR ED SHEERAN INSPIRED ME NOT TO GIVE UP ON????/ WOAH GEE GOLLY THIS IS GETTING CRAZY

WOW LOOK A BLACK PERSON HOLDING HER COUNTRY CD’S THAT HELPED HER REALIZE THAT SHE CAN WRITE ANY GENRE OF MUSIC REGARDLESS OF HER RACE??????!!1111??

A BLACK PERSON WEARING A BAND SHIRT FROM A *GASP* WHITE METALCORE BAND????

In all seriousness now. I am actually mixed and growing up I’ve always found it hard to fit in because no matter what I do my “white side” is showing or my “black side” is showing.
Music is music. It’s all telling a story but the genre is just how a person chooses to tell their story. Ed Sheeran’s genre is “singer-songwriter” sometimes he raps and sometimes he sings a love ballad; nothing is constant with him.
Isn’t it just as racist for the entire list to be black people? It is “black and urban music” not “black artists.”
It’s about the emotion you put into your lyrics. Not the chord progression you use. I can take any lyric in the world and change it to whatever genre I want but that won’t change a single feeling that I have towards it.
Despite my race or Ed’s race, he is the most influential artist I have ever listened to. I can listen to his music and then go write a country song but that doesn’t change the fact that he’s the one that inspired me to write.
